By then your are already dehydrated.
Women have about 40 litres of water in their body, Men 45 litres, approximately 75% of your body is water.
You will lose at least 6 pts of water from your body each day even if you are not active.
If you exercise it will be a lot more.
What is the first piece of advise given to a person who wants to be fit and healthy?
Drink lots of Water.
Your brain is 78% water so dehydration will drastically affect it’s performance. Drinking at least 1.5 litres a day will keep you thinking clearly, reduce headaches, tiredness and dizziness.
Drinking water will improve your digestion, help flush out toxins and gives you a clearer skin with less broken capillaries and lines.
Water can also help with weight lose. It suppresses the appetite and boosts your metabolism. Drinking a glass of water before you eat will calm your stomach, get rid of the rumbling and give you a satisfied feeling so you eat less.
Chronic dehydration can also cause a range of illnesses from Rheumatoid Arthritis to Ulcers.
Do not wait until you feel thirsty, check the colour of your urine. It should be pale and clear; if it is dark yellow your body needs more water.
Drink at least 1.5 litres of water daily to keep well hydrated and your brain and body firing on all cylinders.
