What services are required?
Mains water and electricity are needed. The ideal is to have these services within 1 - 3 m of the desired position of the water cooler; so that water can be connected via our quick fit piercing valve or via a plumbed in connection; electricity should be via a fused spur ideally with or without a socket depending what unit is chosen. All products are fitted with a pressure regulator and water block as standard.
If water is not available within this distance then it can be piped up to about 20 metres at installation.
We recommend that if the services are not immediately available we carry out a no obligation site survey to ascertain where the services are and the best position for the water cooler.
Can we feed the equipment with tank fed water?
Absolutely not, all POU coolers must be fed with mains fed water, tank fed water is not acceptable even with our exacting filtration system.
Do they all need drainage?
Drainage is only required for our drinking fountain type units or our high output AV12 system.
Can you arrange installation?
We employ our own network of engineers that cover the UK who cover both plumbing and electrical aspects and are fully trained on all our products, installation is included free of charge on all equipment supplied by us.
Do you offer a service contract?
We do indeed offer a comprehensive service agreement that can be rolled into the cost of the unit or paid for separately. Our extensive network of engineers carry out servicing to our exacting standards thereby maintaining the warranty and extending the life of your product.
What is the service interval and procedure?
Our mains filtered plumbed coolers (POU) are serviced and sanitised twice yearly, the filters are replaced with the very latest 0.5 micron carbon block filtration units. Aquaven do not use any harmful chemicals in the sanitation procedure, we only use the very latest ozone generation equipment that is far more effective and searching than the old fashioned bleach sanitation system. Our bottled coolers are service four times a year and we use the same ozone sanitation method to clean these models too.
Are the coolers water authority approved?
All our equipment is designed and manufactured to the very highest standard and exceed all international standards and requirements for operation and installation in the UK, all equipment is WRAS and water authority approved including all installation components.
Are staff CRB checked?
All frontline staff employed by Aquaven are CRB checked to the enhanced level, they all carry the very latest CRB identification cards including photographic ID.
